Matsuhiro

Matsuhiro (松尋) was founded 60 years ago in Fukakusa, Kyoto by Kodai Kitakura's grandfather as a sushi restaurant, evolving into Kyoto kaiseki-sushi under his father three decades later. In 2025, Kodai opened Kyoto Sushi Matsuhiro in Fushimi Inari, continuing the restaurant's tradition of saiku-zushi — sushi crafted into seasonal motifs like flowers and cranes.
